FLINT (WJRT) - (08/04/11) - An elderly Flint woman says she caught a man on her porch fondling himself twice in one week.
In both incidents, the man also took out the porch light and rang her doorbell.
The second time, which occurred on Thursday morning, he went one step further and attacked her.
Flint Police released surveillance video from a nearby gas station, at Grand Traverse and Atherton, and say they believe the man in it is the one who attacked her.
"He's not the first person that has come to my door and done stupid things, but this is the first one that has hurt me," said the 73-year-old woman, who wanted to remain anonymous.
The victim described what happened the first time the man came to her door last Thursday, around 1 a.m. "I could see a shape. I went and turned porch light on and there was no porch light."
The woman tells reporters that the man left after she threatened to turn her dog loose on him.
The second attack came on Thursday around 4 a.m. "I heard my door chimes. I flipped the switch. No porch light. I realized ... I left the window open again," the victim explained.
As she was trying to shut her window, she realized the screen had been pushed back and he was reaching in. They struggled. "He just kept pulling," she added.
The victim told police that no bones were broken, but there are bruises. "His strength was something else. I just knew I couldn't go out that window with him so I was doing everything I could to keep from doing that."
A nearby surveillance camera caught a man running away from the area near her home, right after she reports being attacked.
Police are asking those with any information on the attacker to call Flint Police at (810) 237-6932.
